1) Do not smoke inside your home. Request your guests to smoke outside. Passive smoking is more dangerous than active smoking! Paste a notice on your walls like this: 'Thank you for not smoking'. Though this message is usually seen in work places or public places, it is also a good idea to keep this notice in our house targeting your guests or visitors.
2) Ensure that your house is properly ventilated. Without proper ventilation, your house can be full of harmful carbon dioxide and other gases. Install exhaust fans wherever necessary.
3) Keep humidity level in your home low. Standing water and high humidity encourages the growth of mold and other biological pollutants.
4) wash your bed sheets regularly with hot water. Keep your bed room clean from dust and pollutants.
5) Do not use too much pesticides or harmful chemicals inside the house. If you use such chemicals to get rid of cockroaches, ants etc, use them sparingly. In addition to the desired effect, they may also spoil the health of your family members.
